🗞️Introduction

Pirate Ships is a game that our team has created based of a fan favourite game, Battle Ships. We have thrown a spanner in the works and added characters into the game that have abilities to enhance your gameplay and help you defeat your opponent.

A huge factor that needs to be considered in any P2E game is balance and ensuring that the game is not pay to win whilst still ensuring users have goals to continue to upgrade their character or items.

The mechanics of the Pirate Ships game are rather simple. Pirate 1 will search for a game with Player 2 where both Pirates put the same amount of $DOUB on the line. 1v1, winner takes all. There is a 12.5% rake which is divided between the treasury/rewards pool and the other 2.5% goes to staked Pirates. The image below best describes the ecosystem:
